This and That

Download Johnny Weir's Interview on The Howard Stern Show.

Download coverage of the Pac 10 Showcase.

Watch Bama's Season Opener for free.

Michelle Kwan gives an interview in her sing-song voice about falling, getting back up, discipline and dreams.  That woman can BS better than anyone and I admire her for it.  She knows how to kiss up to each and every culture, always seeing future Olympians wherever she goes.

Q+A with Richard Dornbush.

Blahtah is incorporating 'U's into every routine.

The Kerrs confirmed on their official site that they are fit and ready to compete at the European Championships in three weeks.

Photos from the Crimson Tide's first meet.  It would be nice if the team got new leotards once a decade.

  1. The Howard Stern Inverview is EPIC! All interviews should be that much fun to listen to.

  2. Does anyone know whether the download for the JW interview is from a reliable source? I had a big problem a while back from a bad download that I don't want to repeat. Thanks!

  4. Who's the skater who Johnny said "hated the fact that he was gay, so he was straight, he had a girlfriend," and taught him how to kiss?
    Starts at 2:13.

  6. I can think of one skater who's probably gay that had a girlfriend. He's one of my top 5 favorite skaters.

  7. Lately Michelle hasn't been so sing songy lately and although there is still a touch of it at times in this interview it's not happening as much. She's becoming more relax and her real self in interviews.

  8. TMI in that Johnny interview! Michelle is beautiful just the way she is. She looked especially beautiful in that interview. As for her voice, I couldn't tell because the playback was so poor on that video.

  9. MK's nose is fine. I prefer it when people don't strip their faces of everything which makes them unique. Who the hell wants to look like everyone else? Besides, that nose didn't stop People Magazine from naming her one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in 2000.

  11. Being American Dornbush never has to learn a quad. He could be quadless artist like Lysacek and all the judges will by it! He should switch to Carroll and be coached by him. He has major ISU people like Inman ready to lobby judges for his skaters and against others.

  12. Thanks Con - well said. Maybe my views are due to a lifetime of waking up on the wrong side of the bed - but to me, it seems that for all of the medical and technological progress this society has made, we're regressing in certain intrinsic areas - such as whatever makes us see beauty in things that aren't heavily-marketed to us as "ideal". Our tolerance for individual physical variances seems to be evaporating. F--k Dr. 90210.

Hopefully Weir's Howard Stern interview shows up on YouTube - oh, I guess not (Howard being the nasty boy he is). I was lazy about downloading things even in the pre-YouTube days.
