  1. Wow, Silverstein and Pekarek. Sigh, we'll never know what might have been...

  3. Silverstein & Pekarek's FD is still one of my favourites to watch. Saying it's "too bad" their career was derailed is putting it mildly. Such a gorgeous program.

  4. Wow, I'd never seen Silverstein and Pekarek's work before (or if I did, I was too young to appreciate it). The holds, the edges, the presentation- so marvelous!

  5. Ok, what happened to Silverstein and Pekarek? Why did they split? Apparently it happened soon after this performance.

  7. That Cohen video was wonderful. She's about the only person on the planet who could skate in that color and not look terrible. Weir, my God, he must have peaked at just the wrong time. His skating was so magnificent and then the fame went to his head and he phoned it in from then on. The MK video was great too--I was so surprised when the end came because it seemed like no time at all had passed, but her 2004 LP is the skating program I could watch a hundred times and not get bored of.
