David Boudia, Record Breaker

Yummy David Boudia broke his own platform record at US Diving Nationals by scoring a whopping 605 points. 10! 10! 10! Finally, we have someone capable of competing on the World Stage and kicking ass. He does not appear to be a World Class head case like veteran Troy Dumais.

  1. This is the first time since Louganis that I have been excited to watch an American diver. PSYCH!

  2. Ehhhh, with the exception of his back 3.5, most of those tens were a little undeserved. His entries weren't perfect, and shouldn't have been rewarded as so. The Chinese will still kick his ass.

  3. I love how Chinese divers are just referred to as "The Chinese" and never by individual names. They really are all interchangeable, aren't they?

  4. They are, and it's awesome. That nation has managed to create a group of divers with exactly the same technique, exactly the same body lines, and exactly the same competition personalities. Besides, I'm sure the next OGM hasn't even come through the ranks yet.
