I'm not sure upgrading a month before the Olympics is the smartest idea. Alexandrov has already pushed these girls to the state of fragility.
Komova's ankles and Musty's knee landing amanars? If they can get them down and compete them, then more power to them. I'm more afraid of them crashing them come the Olympics
There is no way you can tell if it is a bad landing for her knees from that clip. It could be good that she isn't training/competing it for a long time in order to save her body. She is healthier than she was last year and she pulled it off in podium training at Worlds.
That is normal for everyone in training. It is a job at the elite level...it isn't level 4 recreational gymnastics.

they are probably better off performing perfect DTYs. Komova's amanar on the soft surface doesn't look like a great landing for her knees....
