Michelle Kwan is the World's Greatest Politician. She knows what to say and how to say it better than anyone. Michelle chooses to skate one weekend a year and is paid handsomely for it. Given her status as Yu-Na's idol, she is already revered in South Korea. Knowing how to butter her bread, Kwan talks about her eyes getting misty for Kim's golden moment. While those tears could've been over her own Olympic Dream as much as over Kim's performance, MK looked stunning while kissing the asses of those who matter. I could listen to her BS all day long and still be moved by it. Michelle is the wind, gliding over everyone...
That anchor is SOOOOO cute. I think Michelle is an excellent spokeswoman with regard to content, but her commentary could definitely use some oratorical finesse.
ReplyDeleteTalk gently you bitches. " We all know that Michelle was fuming over NBC's raving about Yu-na and secretly wanting to kick that little bitch's ass. " "kissing the asses " "lie prettier than anyone" "butter her bread"
ReplyDeletewow... so twisted minds, ugly use of languages.
Such a gentle peope, nice people, good people you guys. I assume you guys must be have many friends, wonderful friends with that angelic minds, with that wonderful personalities. Such a beautiful people you guys are. bitch? Why Yuna is bitch? She donated tons of money to worlds. Who is more beneficial to worlds? You call that kind of person "little bitch"? Ugly Americans.
Such a nasty minds. "lie?" To people who lie a lot and kiss ass lot, it may seem she was lying but actually there are really peoples who live their lives without lying much. There are good peoples in the world unlike you guys. There are good people in the world who don't speak with sentences full of snarkyness, nastyness but speak gently, nicely, lovely, who donates money to unfortunate people, who work hard with so much effort of their body. Who are opposite you guys. That kind of angelic person may sparse in your country. but we have butch of people who don't lie. Who don't speak meanly, natstly, snarkly but speak lovely, nicly, gently. There are really those kinds of people. Shame of you. what a lovely people you guys are. Bitching Yuna Kim or Kwan or that kind of person only make you losers. Good people don't speak like that. To twisted minds, most things look dirty, twisted, lied, untrue. Therefore, if Kwan's interview sounded lie to you guys, then it's because you guys are living that kind of life. (at least one person don't have nasty minds)
Knowing how to butter her bread? wow. beautiful, unungly minds.
It is funny I have heard a lot of people say that Michelle is really pissed about YuNA's success. Lets face it, first time out, she wins, Michelle proved she was a two time loser. Granted Michelle was world champion many times over, but really all the public knows is Olympic Gold.......
ReplyDeleteMichelle is not even as pretty as Yuna, but when it comes down to it, Yuna is everything that Michelle is not.......but then again, Michelle is infinitely better known then YuNa...... so it is a symbiotic love hate relationship.
It amazes me how you can all give Michelle feelings and read her mind. I think she was genuinely rooting for Yu-Na at the Olympics and had been rooting for her since the day she decided to get her Masters instead of competing. Last year @Yu-Na's show, Michelle practially did a hand-off of her OGM quest to Yu-Na. It was beautiful. I don't think Michelle has one bit of bad feelings toward Yu-Na and I don't doubt her sincerity towards her at all. Of course, Ive only been a Kwan fan since 1993 - 17 years - but maybe I don't know her yet.

I was just kidding with Michelle. You must admit, she knows how to be amazingly politically correct at all times.
ReplyDeleteDebbi ITA!!!!!! It's amazing how proficient some of these people are at mind reading.
ReplyDeleteI will admit that it kills me inside that the Yu-Nabots hijacked the USFSA Best Skater Ever poll and now the Korean media is jumping all over it to validate Yunamania.
ReplyDeleteEh...both MK fans and Yu-Na fans need to take a chill pill...and MK fans, back in the day, hijacked every single poll possible...(Michelle Kwan trophy, anybody? Yeah...)
ReplyDeleteAJ, just remember during a very long post 2006 angst interview, Michelle was asked:
ReplyDeleteQ: What's the down side to being Michelle Kwan?
A: There is none.
Michelle is happy. I don't think she gives two wits about that OGM anymore. I am happy for her. BTW, I was one of those fans that helped hijack all the polls back in the day :-). So now it's Yu-Na's turn. Let her enjoy it. Enjoy it with her. Life goes on. Michelle always knew that "Life is not a triple lutz."
P.S.) USFSA screwed us all with that best ever poll. While Michelle was up against G&G, the facebook polling software was screwed up, and I couldn't vote from Wednesday through Sunday, and many MKFans were in the same boat. USFSA knew it, didn't do anything to fix it, and would not suspend the poll until the software could be repaired or extend the poll to give us all a chance to vote (several times). It was as bogus as can be. Those of us who love Michelle know who is/was the greatest of all time, and we don't need an effin' poll to tell us. Be still and know that she is Kween (politically correct and packing a magnum of power), but always the Kween.

I'm not saying that MK is necessarily saying that MK is the greatest of all time. There are arguments to be made for several skaters. Thought Yu-Na winning it is a bit cringe worthy. I like her, but I just keep seeing club feet in my mind.
ReplyDeleteAJ, why club feet for Yu-Na?
ReplyDeleteWhile I'm sure MK has no opinion of that poll, may not even know it exited, I think a person or team with more longevity should have won. Michelle, of course, my first choice, but if G&G or even T&D had won, it would have been ok with me. As it stood, the poll was bogus in the set-up from the get go, and the software problems were even worse than the pairings. I do think YNK is a great skater and an amazing jumper, but GSOAT - no way. She hasn't been around long enough to withstand the test of time. She made a major impact on the sport in her few years as a senior skater, but she's still not even 20. In a fair poll, ladies v. ladies, pairs v pairs, etc., I feel sure Michelle would have won the ladies section at least - and maybe the overall, if the software allowed the fans to vote :-).

"..now the Korean media is jumping all over it to validate Yunamania"
ReplyDeleteShe's a big star in Korea so I think it's a natural reaction.I dont find anything wrong with that.. :D
Anonymous #7,you totally overreacted and about YT thing? You're just wrong..it's definitely not Yu-Na fans. Trust me.
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting post.
ReplyDeleteYu-Na should have not caused all the trouble by inviting Kwan to her show.
Isn't it obvious and natural that she is the idol in her own country like Kwan is in the state?
You are absolutely right.
Let Kwan free from the burden of lying and "buttering her bread" for little Korean bitch like you kindly referred.
That will surely make MK fan satisfied.
MK is the World's Greatest Politician? What a twisted mind! What exactly do you want?
ReplyDeleteThere is no respect for the skaters in this place. There are only pure conjecture, distrust, jealousy, condemnation. Who called figure skating is a sport or even an art. bullshit. I'm sick of it.
ReplyDeleteEverybody, chill! It's just a screwball jest, the way I see it. Just laugh out loud.
