Meryl and Charlie have indeed ditched their Amelie short dance. A training partner confirmed that the program was switched after Champs Camp due to poor feedback. Their new short dance is Verdi's La Traviata and Puccini's La Boheme. It is said to be rather good. While they may be a bit rushed preparing for the Grand Prix, they likely won't face competition that will prevent them coasting to an easy victory. They will have much more time to perfect the program than Belgosto did after they had to ditch their awful That's Entertainment free dance right before Nationals.
Marlie also have a new official facebook fan page.
sad that Amelie didn't work out. I would have loved to see it. I love the dramatic operas for them, but I see it more as a Freedance than the short dance. I wonder what the Freedance is...
ReplyDeleteIt is Forever Tango.
ReplyDeleteDid Charlie cut his hair? I hope so.
ReplyDeleteDoes Meryl not get much sun?
ReplyDeleteAccording to a post on golden skate, Charlie is growing his hair out again.
ReplyDeleteDo you know what kind of feedback they got? Too boring, too soft, too cheesy, etc?
ReplyDeleteInterested in knowing what kind of feedback Marlie got on Amelie as well.
