Mao Asada will now be coached by Nobuo Sato. If there is one thing Sato demands, it is speed. Mao will be training alongside Takahiko Kozuka. She is yet another Japanese skater to follow the Nicole Bobek school of coaching loyalty.
I'm not sure what you mean by that. Mao doesn't have a coach right, reports are Tarasova dumped her. Sato as her coach is the best Mao news I've heard in a long time.
Watching her new tango, I noticed her spins have already improved greatly from last season, but I hope they will be even better under Sato. His pupils including Shizuka, Yukari, Kozuka are well known for beautiful spins and skating.
I love Mao's new tango, too! I love the way TAT choreographed tango. Artificial sexiness doesn't suit Mao. TAT showcased her energetic footworks to describe powerful beauty & sexiness IMO.
Mr. Sato is one of the best coaches out there! Hopefully he will work with Mao on some of the things his students are known for: speed, grace, and beeyouteeful edges.
I think this is a good step for her. love that pic btw!

ReplyDeleteGood luck, Mao!
