What really happened to Maroney and Raisman!

  1. Oh god McKayla :( :( :(

I don't want to live in a world where Nastia is not an Olympic Gold Medalist on bars, AND McKayla never returns to get her Vault Gold :( :( :(

  2. Why oh why did those two have to do bars, especially MM with the injured leg? Were there no adults on tour who thought that might be a bad idea?

That Aly fall...ouch!!! Falling on cement like that, that had to hurt like a biotch. Happy she's relatively ok.

Oh Mckayla, that poor kid has gone through ringer. Concussion, broken nose, broken toe, fractured fibula, and now THAT. All in the past 2-3 months on top her rumored back problems. Good lordy,

    1. Poor Aly and McKayla. I hope McKayla takes at least 6 months off, preferably one year. Her body needs it.Then comes back and trains her butt off on VT and FX for 2016.
I don't like the Kellogs tour because although they are doing "easy" skills, they are exhausted and in no way can they be focused after everything that has happened in the past few months! I hope everyone else stays safe.

  4. Whilst I under$tand why they are doing the tour, I don't really don't understand who goes to see it.

Elite level gymnasts nursing injuries preforming basic skills on equipment not set up for gymnastics? Doesn't sound like a whole heap of awesome.

  5. Um, think about it: These shows, by and large, are attended by 6-11-year-old little girls and their parents. They want to see their Olympic heroes. They don't really care if they're doing top-level skills. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out.

    1. Are they really attending?
The ticket prices are pretty outrageous around $200 for the vip seats $125 for good seats, $75 for regular seat and $50-$35 for crap seats. Nosebleeds are $25.

      That is ridiculous pricing.

I've heard that the ticket sales are not booming in most places, and now that MM and AR are likely out is going to hurt even more.

    2. They're really attending. Plenty of parents have that kind of money and don't have a problem spending it on their kids. It happened during the past tours, and it happens now. Aly isn't out, as far I know - just bruised knees/legs. As for McKayla -didn't she have a fractured tibia BEFORE the tour? I thought I remembered her mentioning it in an interview right after London. At any rate, if they lose her, yeah, I think ticket sales will go down.

    3. She had a stress fracture in her fibula in the same leg. And broken toe on the right foot. Oh and a broken nose a couple of months ago with the concussion. They should just proactively put the kid in a full body cast at this point.

    1. At least 4 to 6 months. Depends where the fracture is and how big.

    1. such a gold digger. At least she doesn't have to get a real job now and become a full-time politician.

    2. Because she really needed to go digging for gold. I'm pretty sure she was doing okay on her own.

    3. Did you forget Michelle never got gold? Only a silver and bronze.
