From Russia, With Love: My Newest Adopted Daughter

I live for this program.

I love her for not wearing gloves or tacky outfits. I love her lack of Russian-lady limb flailing.

The tiny snippets of Masha's choreography interspersed throughout make my soul smile.

This needs to be seen again, as I cannot get enough of the Triple Flip+half loop+Salchow at the end of the program.

  1. She's going to be a stunner when she gets older!

  2. And I live for her, a Russian, skating to the soundtrack of Anastasia. (And has it really been 15 years since Tara's own SP to Once Upon a December?)

  3. I don't understand the love for little-girl skating. Let me know when she has grown up and won something major. (And I also find it hard to love a skater with over-the-boot tights)

  5. She is different from what I usually expect from Russian girls. I find most of them look same to me at RN. I wish she survive her puberty. She reminds me of young Katia, which looks weak outside, but tough and strong inside.
