Oh my, you got your wish, but your poor sister. I hope it won't be too painful a sacrifice. ;)
What can one say about Michelle's Tosca? It is without peer. I takes me on a journey of all encompassing emotions. Every time I see her click her skates together to start her FW, I scream out "Yes", and I've probably seen it 100 times. Of course I'm crying at the end, but is it joy or sorrow? It's a great program to get you in touch with your feelings on those "blah" days. Debbi
In second place after the short, this old lady of 23, only 5'2" tall, comes out and blows the roof off the building, brings the house down, knocks Dick Button off his chair, and -- if not accomplished before this -- skates head and shoulders above all others straight into history.
Grand and magnificent!
If I watch this once, I must watch it a dozen times in the same sitting. I'd cheer aloud, but that would disturb the neighbors, so instead I weep with gratitude for the privilege of witnessing that. Beyond amazing to astonishing.
I've been so down today, it didn't occur to me that anything would reach through the numb to bring me to inspired tears. I also didn't think anything would make me laugh, but then I saw the tag "Gay Christmas." I am learning that with Aunt Joyce you just never know what to expect.
omg, I loved that performance. The crowd went wild.
ReplyDeleteNo matter how many times I see that, it makes me cry every time.
ReplyDeleteNext to nobody does the change of edge in the spiral as well as Kwan!
ReplyDeletei cried, again, watching that!
