A Great Moment In Skating History

"So she's just gonna get out here and cry again, what's the difference?!?!"

  1. Nancy's abuse of first-person pronouns proves she was not a ladylike champion nor worthy of Olympic gold. Nothing better to do than wallow in jealousy and bully an orphaned teenager, no less. Love how she attempts to make Chen Lu an accomplice to her slander; it's doubtful Nancy was ever genuinely friendly with competitors, in hindsight. Liar, Liar, Vera Wang dress on fire: Kerrigan's hateful eye, heifer grin, and lukewarm waves on the medal stand solidifies her reputation for the poorest of sportsmanship ever. Were video-sharing sites around back when her arrogant antics were at its peek-bitchiness, she would have been slaughtered unmercifully by unforgiving trolls. Such shameful conduct by the Ice Princess of Darkness. It's no coincidence she was finally visited by Karma years later with her family's domestic mayhem, manifesting in her brother murdering their father. "Why?" Because sore losers never win.

  2. Oh, and don't forget her antics at Disneyworld. Something along the lines of "Do I have to wear these stupid medals?"

  6. Please, that comment was taken way out of context. They waited a half hour for that to take place and it was hardly the worst comment likely made that night by anyone. I actually find it rather amusing and like Nancy more for it.

  7. I think it's an "Ooops, caught on camera" moment. Nancy should have kept cool and then let it all out in private.

  8. Olympic podiums are always dramatic, but I still think nothing tops the drama of Lu Chen, Baiul, and Kerrigan. Those three together could be (and, I suppose, have been!) the subject of infinite fluff pieces.

  9. Everyone's being harsh on SexyEdge. Can you really blame her for those remarks if they led her to believe that Oksana was putting on makeup? Hell, I'd be pissed, too, if lost to the sparkly pink marabou.

Nancy wasn't a bitch; she was just more blue collar than her handlers wanted her to be.

  10. No Nancy was a bitch. it was all she could do to smile her way through a scripted "im so proud of myself" interview.

  12. I'm no longer even a big fan of Nancy's but if I had just been so straightforwardly screwed over by the judges I would have been thinking the exact same thing. She was just dumb enough to say it out loud; I fault her intellectually but not morally.

  13. The 1st reply to this topic is epic and awesome, even if over the top and appropriate. Abuse of first-person pronouns? Liar, Liar Vera Wang dress on fire? HAHAHA. You can't make this stuff up!

  14. *inappropriate

    Or maybe not. :-P

  15. Geez Nancy is so full of herself... modesty and humility are not part of her vocabulary "Miss my first jump and nailed everything else shows how strong I am"... She and Patrick Chan belong together
