Breaking: Voir surgery, out of Skate Canada

Catty Comments here with breaking news - Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir are out of Skate Canada after surgery on her shins for Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome (CECS). She had similar surgery in 2008 to relieve the pressure - then it was the anterior compartments, now it's the posterior compartments.

  1. Gaahhhh! Not good news! I really hope they manage to get Tessa's legs fixed for good. Don't like the thought of her skating in pain or having to retire over it. Must admit I did wonder if something was up when they kept not skating in the Canton shows.

  3. aww how sad. I hope this injury will not too negatively affect their career. They can easily go down in history as one of the best teams ever if they can stay injury free for the next four years. I hope she heals quickly and for good!
