OK. Can any ice dance nazis explain to me some of the differences to look for that keep cappallini and lanotte down? I love that pair (mainly cause he's so hot, but I digress), and I'm concerned they're getting passed up by pairs that were juniors last season. I can spot things like wonky twizzles and speed across the ice, but I really can't tell some of the more subtle things like difficulty in footwork. What do they need to do to move up?
Re: Cappelini and Lanotte: Not getting completely lost after they botch an element is one thing. The performance also lacked a cohesive theme, which is something the ISU is pushing for this year. More to come after I watch again.
