Yu-Na Kim Returns to Competition
As I predicted, Yu-Na Kim is indeed returning to competition. She says she will regret quitting over pressure to repeat her success. Yu-Na certainly appears fit and able to regain her form physically. It is always difficult for returning Olympic Champions to compete against their past accomplishments in Olympic sports. The media will dwell on her every move, especially at home. Whether she will return to training in Los Angeles is anyone's guess. Her image has cooled slight in South Korea, but this comeback should ignite it again and extend her career for several years. It certainly is good for the sport's interest and expansion in the country. Yu-Na says she will retire after Sochi.

Do you hear that? That's the sound of a bunch of sad senior ladies skaters. HahA
ReplyDeleteRetire after Sochi ? Oh, she's still young then, mmm... maybe she wants freedom rather than taking pressure over and over again ~ Good luck, Yuna !
ReplyDeleteGood news :) Go! Yu-Na!

ReplyDeleteI'm so happy for Evan, Johnny, Miki, Yuna all coming back. gonna be interesting fields. I never imagine Yuna will be back, though.
ReplyDeleteRussian babies, Mao, Miki, Caro, Yuna........ hahahahaha!!
I love it.
Yuna has perfect timing for AJ's nerves, as soon as Nastia's comeback is over Yuna vows to return to keep him on the edge of his seet and needing lots of yoga and xanax.
ReplyDeleteMommy Kim wants to make more money!

Deleterude japanese!!!
DeleteAt least, Kim is not boring. Something interesting always happens around her. I've never been "bored" by Cohen,Weir before. As John Nicks said, a worst skater is a boring skater.
