This and That
Nastia is the new spokeswoman for Bed Head, which is mildly amusing given her infamous baldness.
Larisa Iordace claims to be in no pain and says she will do all four events on Sunday. While the no pain may be entirely a bunch of hogwash given her tears and visible favoring of her one foot in training, I would never underestimate one of Dracula's daughters.
Team China in podium training
Gracie Gold landed a Rippon Lutz, Triple Flip+Triple Toe and a Double Axel at Skate Detroit last night to score 62.69 pts in the Senior Ladies short program.
Alexe Gilles, who finished 8th at Sectionals last season, scored 37.33 for her short program.
Mao Asada brings joy to the Fukushima victims. Now if only she can bring it to her skating.
Mrs. Phelps continues to be a mediawhore. Sadly, they forgot to ask her about her son's penchant for hookers and strippers. "Aw, it is so sweet that he called and missed us." His fame just hasn't sunk in...which is amusing as it has been eight years since he dominated Athens.
Ryan Seacrest looks for his next beard with the ladies of Team USA.
Kudos to stiff and insufferable Savannah for talking to the ladies on the level of their third grade education.
Shawn spouts her usual bullshit.

AJ spouts her usual bullshit too. Accept the fact that the major public do not remember a certain Russian.
ReplyDeleteHow many times will we have to hear the same interview with Shawn this year?? And apparently she doesn't realize that her "teammates" are NOT walking in during the opening ceremonies.
ReplyDeleteWhy does Nastia look like she has leprosy in that photo? I mean, we know gymnasts use chalk on their hands, but not all on the backs of them. What the hell is bed head anyway? Is it that shampoo? Why the chalk then? I guess she is just determined to further embarrass herself...as if she could do that:0
ReplyDeleteI love how Nastia tries to use her standing ovation to cover up for the fact that she fell on her face twice at Olympic Trials and never should have been competing in the first place. I would have clapped for her too because I felt so bad for her and Rebecca Bross. She tries to cover and say that those standing ovations were better than winning her medals in 2008. Yeah right.
ReplyDeleteSo...McKayla's British accent was horrible.
ReplyDeleteWhy does Jordyn persist in insisting that her and Gabby are the "best of teammates" and "the best of friends" in every interview yet we have not seen one single solitary picture on twitter or anywhere of just her and Gabby doing anything together?
