We will miss you.

  1. Pure class. Wish her nothing but the best in all the years she has ahead of her. I'm sorry her comeback didn't work out differently for her, but I'm grateful to see her one last time.

  2. So glad the crowd in San Jose was able to do that for her. I was tearing up watching it and hearing her say how much it meant to her has me full on crying. NYU will be lucky to have her.

    1. Get ready for another Texas princess to be added to the Upper East Side Gang. Can't wait.

  3. Marta told her she would be the alternate if she hit. That is why she competed. She did not compete because she wasn't a quitter. Marta told her to say that.

I was told by someone at Woga and Nastia was told this a month ago.

    1. So why did she go do a beam routine after she crashed bars, knowing it was over?

  6. Well that put a lump in the old throat. It is always sad to say goodbye to champions in the twilight of their competitive years. I still believe Liukin had it in her to do great had she comeback sooner. Her elegance and grace will be missed on the competition floor.

  7. I won't miss her. I laughed when she fell and I am glad she is gone.

Marta was going to name her to the team and screw over a deserving gymnast if she had hit one uneven bar routine. Not one person on this planet has a problem with that?
