  1. Winning Euros with a FTY is... unfuckingbelievable. Break out the asterisks for this gymn competition entry in Wikipedia.

  2. I feel so bad for whoever was competing when Ferrari was up on floor. And Chelaru reminds me so much of Raducan, in terms of physical appearance and style--at least on FX. Romania's 3-4 finish is impressive. Guess they're not going away anytime soon.

  3. Dementyeva needs to get rid of those beam wobbles and dismount! Other than that she was lovely.

  4. Aside from Mustafina, the Euros AA field is pretty weak frankly. Euros are vastly less relevant than they were in decades passed.

  5. In the words of Catty Comments, "That was the worst FTY to EVER win Europeans."

  6. Has Racea always worn shoes on floor?

  7. I love that Ferrari's beam is different and unique. I wish there was bonus/requirement for a hold/handstand/scale element. Then we wouldnt see non-stop every tumbling pass in the book routines. Or at least a pretty scale in-between the tumbling.

  8. Gotta love the spanish announcers! On Ferrari: "Para mi es un poquito pasada de peso..." Also, burn that leo.

  9. amazing that Mustafina can bend her knee like that after an injury. Usually because of the swelling the jojnt doesn't want to bend or the meniscus 'catches' and the joint gets stuck. Hope she heals quickly.

  10. I imagine it feels better to keep the cartilages separate after the tear, which you would do by flexing the knee, especially if it's an anterior tear. Damn I hope she gets better soon.
