Arianna Berlin's floor routines are easily some of the most offensive gymnastics I've ever seen. If she was at least decent a breakdancing, it may have been tolerable, but her floor serves as the greatest disappointment ever served up by Ms. Val. I mean, how did that go on for so long. I don't think that it is any coincidence that they couldn't touch a title throughout her time at UCLA. If I was a teammate, I would have had to beat her up.
This is a joke right. None of these people are awesome(skaters). I know you hated that stupid Don Quixote program Sarah skated to over and over again like that Fosse program. Even if Rachel skated a decent program like EOE you still wouldn't like her performance. Hilarious.
Perhaps the worst part about Morgan White's '99 floor ex is that Jamie Dantszcher had the same music, used it WAY better, and Morgan scored higher. Wrong.
April Fool's! Sorry, but I can't agree with Candeloro's '98 D'Artangnan LP. That was the best program that night imo, the most enjoyable and the audience ate it up.
I think Irina's Tosca at the Olympics was even worse than this one. That face-grabbing, arm-flailing at the end is just awful! And at the Olympics, it was rushed! And AJ, you are the best for calling out Sarah Hughes as an ungainly skater with forced artistry (even if it is kind of mean to pick on her when she was only 14--the thing is, however, she never got any better!)
i thought u hated jana bieger
ReplyDeleteHmmm...I get the feeling this is an April Fool's...I mean Rachael Flatt? Sarah Hughes? Kristen Maloney?

ReplyDeleteRoz Sumners' commentary and bitter hatred of the Kwan puts that Tosca over the edge.
ReplyDeleteWhy did/does Summers hate Kwan?
