Anatasha Grishina performing a compulsory floor routine at the 2007 Moscow Championships.
With the Olympic Teams about to be finalized in the coming weeks, it is time to take a look at the development of one of the most expressive gymnasts in the world. She may not be the most consistent, but the pretty ones rarely ever are.
She, Komova, and Mustafina all have Amanars. Whether they will hit them at Olys is unknown. The plan, last I heard, was to compete one in TQ, then all 3 in TF. I would bet Komova's will be used in TQ. Hers is the only one that looked good in the training vids. All into pit, so it probably means nothing. But we know the Russians are fierce.
LOVE LOVE LOVE <3
ReplyDeleteWatching the current junior russians made me realize how precious Grishina was for her age
I wonder if she can throw an Amanar?

ReplyDeleteeek, I was hoping they wouldn't make her do one. If any stupid amanar vault breaks my Grishie... there will be BIG trouble
