  2. I just realised Mirai has yet to have a GP medal. Hopefully until now.

  3. Miki. Ando. Is. FIRST. In. PCS?!

I see JSF is flexing its muscles...

  4. How does Miki gain higher PCS than Akiko? I understand that she's showing a little bit more emotion, but Akiko, particularly with this SP, is waaaay higher than Miki.

  5. *I meant interpretation, and Mirai as well should have higher PCS overall

  6. Ando has choreography. Ando has skating skills. Ando has interpretive skills. Ando has transitions. Ando has Performance quality. What's the problem? No one deserves more PCS than Ando. Suziki? LOL! Nagasu? LOL! Suzuki doesn't have Ando's skating skills and Nagasu has shit Carroll choreography and interpretation. Carroll is the worst coach imaginable for Nagasu.

  7. hahahahahaha. Thank you, Anonymous @10:45 for making me laugh so hard I spit out part of crab cake at lunch. While I'm not terribly impressed with ANYONE'S short program so far, and am pretty disappointed with Mirai's actually, to suggest that Miki Ando has more grace, style and ease of movement than a recently beheaded chicken is like pissing on a midget and telling him it's raining.

  8. Ando does have skating skills. Is that you mean by ease of movement? THere is no "ease of movement" PCS mark and there is certainly no Grace or style PCS mark! Where are you getting grace and style? She has interpretation and choreography. Ando has it all!

  9. I was referring to my opinion of her skating in general, not PCS. But I rewatched her program and still wouldn't rank her among the world's top 5 in PCS. Her skating skills aren't that strong. She doesn't appear to have a lot of speed or glide to her edges. She has poor posture and doesn't get down in her knees. There were no transitions except the steps into the flip. Her performance was lackluster and her execution sloppy. The choreography didn't relate well to the music. The arm movements were superfluous, and she simply stood and posed a lot. Since the performance and choreoraphy were lacking, the interpretation suffers, too.
