The reason why Johnny isn't ...To Anon 10:34 PM

The reason why Johnny isn't invited in more skating shows is because most of these shows are either promoted, funded or owned by IMG, a big and influential sports agency representing some figure skaters such as Scott Hamilton and Evan Lysacek. For example, IMG co-owns with Scott the "Stars on Ice" tour (and Scott doesn't like Johnny). IMG won't hire a popular skater like Johnny in one of their many skating shows because they can't have him overshadow and steal Evan's supposed spotlight. Simple as that...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6387050766907671577.post-7233805964336895312011-03-25T22:34:27.467-07:002011-03-25T22:34:27.467-07:00Johnny is so full of himself. Like he has actually...Johnny is so full of himself. Like he has actually seen what is written in Lysacek's contract. It is just ANOTHER excuse by Johnny to explain why he is not in more skating shows. Moreover, I seriously doubt that Johnny would even want to be in a skating show with Evan because Evan would be the headliner.

Furthermore, after seeing video's of Johnny's lackluster perormances at Yuna's show in LA, it is not shocking that he has not been invited to do more of her shows. (Seriously,in one number he only did one jump... a SINGLE rotation jump)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6387050766907671577.post-60658926484341486812011-03-15T05:55:56.805-07:002011-03-15T05:55:56.805-07:00"'I think "Media Whore Johnny" ..."'I think "Media Whore Johnny" is an invention by people who don't like Johnny and/or the fact that Johnny goes to premieres and other non-skating events.'

wouldn't that include the blog's owner?"

ding ding ding yesAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6387050766907671577.post-58817286011979221202011-03-13T18:25:50.465-07:002011-03-13T18:25:50.465-07:00Thanks for posting all of these. When I've seen Johnny interviewed on red carpets, on talk shows, etc, he is the same sweet, endearing person as he is in these videos. I really don't think he has changed. Yes, he likes going to events and having different experiences, but he's always been very kind, which is a huge reason why he has so many fans.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6387050766907671577.post-38253789729978866932011-03-13T15:04:46.992-07:002011-03-13T15:04:46.992-07:00I heard Johnny's agent had a disagreement with...I heard Johnny's agent had a disagreement with Yuna's management over money.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6387050766907671577.post-15322864196361759092011-03-13T14:25:32.978-07:002011-03-13T14:25:32.978-07:00I am the one who speculated that it may have had s...I am the one who speculated that it may have had something to do with his new book, and the surrounding press. It was just speculation, I didn't say it was the case for sure. I'm glad Korean society isn't that homophobic. I still think there is something odd about the story. I can't understand Johnny being blacklisted from Yuna shows simply over a fb picture that didn't include her, and him being very popular over there. It still feels like there is more to it, yet nobody seems to know what for sure.

I wondered if there was a difference between being gay and quiet/private (we all know about Brian Orser), and doing people magazine spreads, and going on the Howard Stern Show and talking about anal sex. I thought perhaps that may have rubbed some of the conservative types the wrong way. However, it may not be any of that, and perhaps Korean Yuna fans are just loco.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6387050766907671577.post-6567245891474351412011-03-13T13:24:48.351-07:002011-03-13T13:24:48.351-07:00Agree with @5:27 AM.

Anyone familiar with their history would find there were many stories on historical personalities about gays, or being gay in their histories. East Asia is usually considered not-so-religious, so they don't have the religion barrier when it comes to LGBT.

It really confuses me why Americans consider these countries homophobic while North America is definitely much more homophobic.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6387050766907671577.post-52278306818885228312011-03-13T05:27:08.555-07:002011-03-13T05:27:08.555-07:00I heard it's something to do with Johnny's...I heard it's something to do with Johnny's agent.
And as a Korean fan, I can say with certitude that we all knew Johnny's gay.
