Romanian Upgrades

They are all learning how to back tuck out of everything!

The rest of the meet is after the jump.

  1. That's a fearsome floor rotation. I'm noticing that the Romanians look more energetic and fiercer (and thinner) every time we see them lately. So have the Russians, to a lesser extent. The Americans...not so much.

  2. I think on the American side Gabby, Aly and McKayla have been looking more fierce. Jordyn looks tired, and has all year. Romanians are looking to be a major TF threat though!

  3. They are so spazzy and no class. I hate their random shaky movements. They good but have weird presentation skills. I see Ponor doing a talk to the hand pose now. Ugh, why can't everyone have the Russian carriage and discipline ballet training!

    1. the no class comment is out of line, you can not like it but don't say they aren't classy. what is wrong with you?

  4. I was prepared to watch Gabby's spastic floor routine at the Olympics but now we get to have a whole rotation of the Romanians....

  6. Your smoking something jordyn at trials is finally looking like her old self. And jordyn, aly, and mckaylas floor routines at trials. Was the best. Strong energetic and poised . I'm not sure what you were watching. But the Americans floor way better than Romania. I'll give Romania bb but aly bb was alot better than that overscored arms everywhere lordache. Bring it on London go team USA well dominate and win. Our bb will be back up with jordyn and Kyla back to normal.

  7. Romania is better than the US on floor, but most of those back tuck connections are not even close to connected. Romania will not gain more than .5 on the US on floor though as it is also a US strength. They're behind the US on vault and bars by about 3 points combined so they need to be able to beat the US by more than 2.5 to have a shot. They can definitely gain on them big there, but that's a tall order. Russia is a hot mess on beam and iffy on floor. I think that they may end up with bronze.

  8. I meant to say that BEAM is where Romania must accrue 2-3 whole points on the US to have a chance.

  9. I hate that back-tucking crap. I prefer punch-fronts. I think those 'connections' are as bogus as Wieber's so-called front 'handspring' combo on beam. That being said-Romania is on track to give the world a real battle in London. I especially love Izbasa's floor music to Pink Floyd! Very cool1
