  2. All I'm wondering right now if last night was too emotional and too much of a high for Gabby to win it. It seems more often than not it pays to not have the win at Nationals whether it's gymnastics or FS when the field is deep.

  5. Haha, leave it to Maroney to flash some bedroom eyes. Girl is such a diva, I love it.

    1. I think they look more like "I've got a secret and I'm not gonna tell" eyes to me LOL! :D

  6. McKayla is plotting something.

    And I like it.

  7. She looked that way all through trials too. Never once looked the least bit nervous or anxious. People talk about the mental game more with beam'ers and sometimes bar workers more than vault specialists... But this gal either has a special talent for never letting things get to her, or she somehow manages to look like they aren't.

  8. I'm convinced they picked McKayla not just for her vaults, but also because she brings the fierce b*tch face. Every team needs that. ha.

  9. Love McKayla's smirk!

  10. Let the weave flow, Gabby.

If they were aiming for height-order, it looks like McKayla should have been right behind Gabby.

    1. McKayla is actually the tallest...she is on a slope. That's why she is always banging her feet on the low bar in competition...that and the fact that she sucks at bars.

  11. Can't they find warmups that don't dwarf the poor kids? Sheesh...

    1. Hopefully they'll get them tailored before the Games. :)

  12. ^^^ Right?! ^^^

I found myself thinking when I saw the guys in theirs. Now, they're not as bad as the women's but they're still so big and baggy. It's not like these athletes are anything besides an XS & L (girls and guys)
