It's like Glee without Lea Michele's whiny overacting.

  1. To be fair to Leah Michele, as Ryan Murphy (who is the creator/show runner of Glee) is very big on having some of the characters in his shows mug shamelessly - I'm sure he tells her to perform the character like that.

    As for this show, why the hell can't they have the actresses sing in a way that resembles Marilyn - her voice may not have been the MAJOR part of her appeal, but it was certainly a part of it.

  4. Ummm... how long can you possibly draw out this Chicago-esque plot? Oh, who am I kidding. This IS Chicago. You can't turn that into a series. I give it three weeks before it's yanked.

  5. I don't quite understand why, but I'm already rooting for Karen (McPhee) and sleazebag director Derek to get together. I suspect it has to do with Derek being played by Jack Davenport...
