  1. 1. Mirai was beautiful, poised, and sharp. LOVELY!

    2. Suzuki was good but I hate her arm positions on her camel spin.

    3. Just when I thought Ando grew up, she puts together that really crappy SP. No extension. (Was that supposed to be a Falling Leaf split jump?) No connection to the music. At the Japan Open, she was nothing short of a revelation (relatively for herself) but I got ahead of myself. I hate her SP! YUCK! Did she really get first in the artistic mark? WTF! SMDH!

    4. Kozuka is so NOT a Soul Man that it isn't even funny. Maybe they were trying to do a spoof. But his basic skating is nothing to laugh at. He's gorgeous on the ice but he's still staring at the ice and not the audience, which is such a shame. If only he could get out of that shell...

    5. I'm sick of seeing Joubert skate. I guess I'm the only one who isn't a fan. I always know what's he's going to do. Never any suspense. His quad-triple was beautiful but I'm way past being impressed by his muscles. More stutter ice stepping? Check. Sloppy 3A? Check. "I'm a straight man" facial expressions? CHECK! I've had enough.

  2. Right on, Delonjo. You are not the only one who isn't a Joubert fan.

I'm trying to figure out where the transitions were that gave Joubert a higher TR mark than Kozuka. Double-footed skating while clapping, perhaps? Bull-fighter hands while posing?

  3. Joubert fans? In <> blog? You gotta be kidding.

Joubert's fans are in Beijing, China. What other skater got as many stuffed animals, huh? :)) Ppl love him, it's incredibly irritating to some, oh well life isn't fair ;)
