Tanith's overacting is even worse than I remember. I love the "If It Kills Me" number, but her facial expressions are out of control and ridiculously exaggerated, like that of a mime.
Right, because Tanith is god's gift to ice dance. What subtle and nuanced expression! What gorgeous technique! Get over yourself. Tanith's the pretty one, and Ben does the heavy lifting. That's not exactly earth-shattering.
People need to lighten up just a tad. Tanith and Ben were top of the line, but even Tanith herself admitted her flaws last season and was committed to working on them. Nevertheless, she's very talented obviously.
Actually you must be one of the most humorless, dour ice dance fans of all time if you found this quote in some way a personal affront to Tanith. Aunt Joyce, I can assure you, has always loved Tanith. I am not kidding. He and I discuss her all the time and how we want to learn to do Moldovan dances like her. Tanith is really a gorgeous sight with the most beautiful line, and her dancing is always entertaining. If you can't appreciate that Ben is the stronger skater technically then you may be ignorant about skating or in some Tanith cult.
Ben is Puerto Rican. Tanith is Inuit. Neither really stood a chance with their awful Olympic Free Dance and posits Anonymous is really the same inclination.
