Where Have All The Flowers Gone?

Only Katarina Witt could come back to the Olympics after six years as a pro and make a political statement about the war in Bosnia. Even though she didn't have a prayer of winning an Olympic medal, Katarina produced one of the most stirring long programs in recent memory. It is amazing how much she improved as a professional under the artistic direction of Sandra Bezic. Now armed with line, extension and rid of the claw hands, Ms. Witt was more captivating than ever.

  2. I loved this program so much, especially since the war in Bosnia was close to my heart. Just an interesting note: I remember Elena Berezhnaya and her then partner Oleg Shliakov used this music the following year, but alas, their program was horrid.

  4. Similar to Miki...AHAHAHA!!!! The only skater with less soul than Miki is probably Rachael Flatt. Even that is being harsh on Flatt. Ms. Witt was to die for in the mid 90s.s
