This and That

The Orser-Kim drama is not stopping, and frankly...pass the popcorn! After being contacted about being called a liar by Yu-Na and AT Sports, Brian Orser provided Phil Hersh with a copy of an email he sent to Yu-Na on April 25th about the rumors surrounding him being contacted about coaching Mao Asada. This comes on the heels of another report from The Star stating that Yu-Na was seen in tears at the Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling Club and left before taking the ice for her afternoon session.

We also learned that Yu-Na's new competitive long program is set to the music of Arirang.

The Qualifying competition took place at the Russian Cup. Aliya Mustafina led the field with a 59.821. Tatiana Nabieva was second with a 59.151. Ksenia Semenova was third, Daria Elizarova was fourth and Ksenia Afanasyeva was fifth after mistakes on bars and beam. Afanasyeva performed a double layout and two whips through to a triple twist for a 15.700 on floor exercise. Mustafina and Nabieva both competed Amanars on vault.

Anna Pavlova finished sixth in qualifying and tied Nabieva for the high score on balance beam (14.500). She announced that 2010 will be her final year competing.

Both Viktoria Komova and Anastasia Grishina sat out this meet. The Russians are reportedly aiming to keep their juniors fresh and healthy for 2012. They aim to win gold as a team at Worlds.

A list of the competitors for this weekend's Moran Memorial has been posted.

The top skaters in the country are arriving in Colorado Springs for Champs Camp. Unlike previous years, this year's camp will feature more than meetings and seminars. Skaters will perform their competitive programs for a monitoring committee.

  1. I feel like Brian Orser is trying so hard to prove that he cares for Yu-Na by providing this letter, etc, but Yu-Na is just getting more and more horrified by the whole situation and can only cry.

Perhaps an exchange of emails between Brian and Yu-Na rather than Brian and Phil Hersh would help calm down this situation?

    ReplyDelete
  2. I think it pays at this point for both camps to be as open as possible. The Yu-Na camp should release a coherent statement, stat.

At the same time, the world now knows what Orser's email is.

    ReplyDelete
  3. I'm just confused, according to his e-mail, the rumor is true. But why Brian said it is not true at CTV?

    ReplyDelete
  4. Orser leaked Yuna's LP music. David Wilson stated that he was shocked and taken aback that Orser revealed Yuna's music w/out consulting it w/ anyone. This is getting too crazy.

  5. David Wilson's words "I had no idea that Brian Orser was going to reveal details regarding the program to the media. He didn't mention a single word about announcing the program even prior to his interviews with the media." And added "I am very surprised about this situation and rather confused".

  6. Surely the fact that Evan L is a Miss World judge must merit a mention in 'This and That'?! Think of how Nastia must be feeling! Ha ha

  7. Yuna and ATS never accused Brian of lying about the rumors in April about coaching Mao. They said he's lying about how Yuna's mother is being a controlling bitch and blindsided him w/the termination notice. I feel like this email is irrelevant

    ReplyDelete
  8. ATS accused Brian of entertaining the idea of coaching Mao and not giving Yu-Na enough attention--that he'd been so neglectful, in fact, that they'd felt like they had to let him go. The e-mail proves that, at least in his communications to them, he didn't give them any reason to think that he was interested in coaching Mao.

    ReplyDelete
  9. Whatever this "lie" is, it's not the only one. Orser said with a straight face today on CTV that there was "absolutely" no offer from Asada's team. This email directly contradicts that. Something's definitely off here.

    ReplyDelete
  10. I'm confused by this blog post. ATS just said that their relationship has been "uncomfortable" since May after the whole Mao thing. Mao's side denied any contact w/ Brian. So was it Mao's side or Brian that was lying? I'm sure Brian's telling the truth. Why would he lie about this? But the situation is still odd and slimy all together. Yuna stated that she trusts Brian the most and that's why he's her coach and the one she looks and talks to before her performances. Maybe this incident in which either Mao's side or Brian was lying just made Yuna question Brian a little.

    ReplyDelete
  11. Why did you leave out the fact that it was Brian Orser who revealed Yuna's FS music without permission? Is it because it clashes with your previous stance on defending his "professionalism"?

    ReplyDelete
  12. I don't know why people keep dragging Mao into this--everything Mao and her team has said so far, as well as her actions, has made it clear that Mao wants a JAPANESE coach who will allow her to remain in Nagoya to train at the rink her university built for her (hence, Nagakubo, who will probably become her main coach). Why on earth would Mao's side approach Brian Orser, who is a Canadian coach based in a Canadian rink with zero chance of relocating to Japan?

If anything, it's Orser's who's been a bit inconsistent with his statements. However, I highly doubt that Orser's intentionally lying...instead, it seems that miscommunication is clearly the common theme in this whole drama.

    ReplyDelete
  13. What a professional and reliable coach, ha!

    So what's the next, Brian?

    ReplyDelete
  14. No, Pavs retiring! (Sorry to be completely unrelated to Yuna, but I'm not a skating fan).

    ReplyDelete
  15. Wow...The comments both here and on Hersh's page are LOLs. Somebody film this shit for a craptastic Lifetime movie of the week. STAT!

I don't know or care what the real story here is, but I will say this: All of the natural talent in the world, while being stuck in a country not at all known for skating, would've gotten Kim Yu-na absolutely NOWHERE. Instead, she wound up being lucky enough to have an obviously good coach (Adam Rippon and Christina Gao, anyone?) and then went on to dominate ladies' figure skating. Perhaps someone's head got a bit swelled, and she forgot who she owes at least part of her success to.

And now I'll be flamed by "anonymous" users for THAT. Oh well.

    ReplyDelete
  16. I don't know what's more amusing, the actual war of words between Orser and Team Yuna, or the comments from Yuna's supporters (which I always read as being said in a shrill, fast talking voice with just a dash of paranoia thrown in!). Thanks, for making late August a little more entertaining than it might otherwise be!

  17. who cares, she is gross. Stick a fork in her, she is burned and done

    ReplyDelete
  18. Mao has nothing to do with this.

    excerpt from Phil's article...
"It was said earlier that *Kim certainly had a different view in a Reuters story published May 17. This is what she said then about the Orser-Asada situation and about Orser in general:

``The stories that have been going around that Brian Orser will coach another athlete, I know to be false. Other athletes have many troubles with their coaches, but I think I was able to get where I am now because Orser and I had that relationship of trust.''

This is what Kim said earlier in the year but now she's including this as part of the problem. I don't get it.

    ReplyDelete
  19. JUST TALK TO EACH OTHER. Gosh, any sane person following this back and forth drama would know that Orser and Yu-Na sitting down and talking about this PRIVATELY is the only thing right now that is going to repair this mess.

    ReplyDelete
  20. This completely highlights mt point about medals not being the defining factor for gymnasts. Who, in their right mind could argue that Pavlova isnt 1 of the best to ever do it? Regardless of her medal haul at worlds n Olys, she's such a phenom, and I hope to see her at worlds.

    ReplyDelete
  21. Why are Orser and Yu-Na Kim STILL unwilling to speak to directly to each other about this? They're creating their own problems by not communicating, and it's a shame. There's no reason why this decision couldn't be amicable, and there's no reason why they should be able to look back at their time together positively.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Okay, I'm going to retype that because I had typos galore!

  23. ADORE that Brian spilled Yu-Na's music. It's harmless move yet so, so catty! Prrrrrrrrr...

    ReplyDelete
  24. I've never really gotten the whole "treat my music choices like they are a life-or-death state secret!" routine in skating. Everyone skates to the same 15 selections. It's not like you're practicing with your music all alone north of the arctic circle in the Yukon. People see you practicing to it!

Skating: making gymnastics craziness seem normal!

    ReplyDelete
  25. Haha, so her management announce her competition plans for the season and Orser has to learn this via the internet. But Oh! The horror! He has released her music to the public without her consent. Seems to me they're even. He shouldn't have gone there, but then I can understand why he momentarily lost it or whatever and did after the way he was treated.

I think they must have both really cared for each other, it could only snowball like this if there were genuine feelings involved.

    ReplyDelete
  26. I'm 99.9% certain that Brian Orser had a rather successful skating career before Yu Na was even born.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Wow..Yu na gave Orser a career...really. I'm with Robin but I'm going to say I'm 100% sure that Brian Orser had a career before Yu na existed and still has one in coaching. Look both sides have handled this situation in the wrong way. If only they had actually talked to each other. Oh well...

    ReplyDelete
  28. Orser said Tracy was with him whenever he had meetings with ATS people. Where is she now? She never talked to confirm what Orser said was true. I want to hear her story now because little Orser's whining is just beginning to get into my nerves. But she might be afraid to talk; if she talked and crossed him like David Wilson did, Orser will run to the press and trash them into leaving the club.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I know whenever Brian goes "You know what?" in a high pitch tone, that is when his insecurity as a coach kicks in. Go check his interviews.

    ReplyDelete
  30. As much as I enjoy popcorn, may we please get to the end of the movie already? I would simply like to obsess some more about Marlie and Voir rather than Orser and Yu-na, thank you very much. :)

  31. This reminds me of the 2008 Olympics, when any Western media outlet that allowed comments that were critical of the Chinese hosts was immediately invaded by loads of pro-Beijing comments written in poor English.

As a person who doesn't care about either party here, it seems that these two have incredibly poor communication processes for a partnership that has been so successful. That said, Orser's story is much more plausible than Kim's, at least from the perspective of what has been released to the public.

He has set out clearly his attempts at communication, what happened and when, and has not criticized his skater. The only bad thing that I can see that he has done is release her music choice to the public, which frankly is not that big a deal in a post-Olympic year. It's not like Asada was going to skate to Airang, now, is it.

Kim, her mother and her management team have obfuscated what was decided and when the decision was made, and their main criticism has been that Orser has gone to the press to announce the split, when they would have preferred that everything be kept private forever. With people of this public profile, news like that would be impossible to keep quiet for very long. As far as I can see, Orser did the most responsible thing he could by releasing the news.

But what the hell do I know, I'm just a person who is professionally compelled to answer (or, at the very least, acknowledge) all of my emails within 24 hours of receipt. The concept that someone could send an email and wait months for a response, especially in a situation like this, is utterly foreign to me.

    ReplyDelete
  32. Lesson learned by Orser's students: Never ever leave him no matter what happens or make sure you have a good lawyer and PR people ready before you let go of him; he tends to turn into a complete jerk who loves to give interviews about your mother.

    ReplyDelete
  33. I don't have a horse in this race, but it sure seems ATS has acted in an unprofessional manner. It may fly in Korea, (and may be the cultural norm there), but to a North American's eyes..it seems impolite, ungracious, and petty to fire a coach the way they did.

My respect for Kim Yuna has plummeted. Ditto for ATS. Why did this have to happen after the big success they had with All That Skate: Summer? I wonder if the dust up will impact thier LA show?

Yuna needs to leave that training facility - I'm sure the atmosphere is deadly about now. I feel for the other skaters having to train there.

    ReplyDelete
  34. Why did Brian lie about Mao's agent being approached him? Mao's agents made announcement yesterday that they never approached him, then why he lied? Did he want to influence Yuna's decision to stay with him with that false information? Also, why did he say Yuna didn't know about anything when other sources say Yuna and Brian were already in bad terms back in May? So many holes and inconsistencies in his story.

    ReplyDelete
  35. I personally think Heidi knew that Spencer was spreading lies about Lauren's sex tape, but she was just like, "I don't know," and Spencer was like, "I don't know," even though they both knew they were lying about it. They both knew about it.

    ReplyDelete
  36. re: Orser "lying" about the Mao business - an unnamed someone (who?) from her agency making a general "inquiry" with him is NOT the same as making him an offer. an offer would include stuff like compensation, duration, location, etc. and probably wouldn't be made until he'd at least indicated some general interest in the prospect. he's handled this whole affair a bit clumsily (although nowhere near the catastrophic trainwreck wrought by Team Yu-na) but I wouldn't call him a liar.

    ReplyDelete
  37. Both teams are at fault for their lack of communication. If they truly cared for each other, they would of sorted things out before going to the media and making all of us confused! It's obvious that both of them are hurt about the break up. Hopefully, Brian and Yuna don't end things w/ hating each other. B/c I'm sure Brian and Yuna's mother(and ATS) have nothing but hate.

    ReplyDelete
  38. I found his CTV interview very genuine, and I didn't feel he was hiding anything - except for one moment: he is asked about his relationship with Kim's mother/manager. He tries to say something positive but his head moves from side('no'). It was the only incongruent body language I could see.

If you want your mother to be your manager, you cannot turn around and pull the 'you're attacking my mother' card when really they are attacking your manager.

    ReplyDelete
  39. I honestly wonder if the translator, Helen Choi, was part of the mess. I know not all, but part of the reason why Orser felt dissed. Her english seems harsh and she just looks like a cold-hearted bitch. Maybe, her translation on Aug 2nd came off souless and disrespectful. If you've ever seen her try to translate for Yuna after 2010 Worlds, you know what I mean. It was almost incoherent and it looked like she was annoyed the whole time. Yuna speaks better than her.

    ReplyDelete
  40. Adam and Gao learned the lesson: "my mother's day gift is a lawyer and a PR person for her. You never know."

    ReplyDelete
  41. Brian, I used to like you, and I even got your autograph when you came to my country last year. But I lost all my respect for you when you lied that Mao's agent approached you for a coaching job. I wouldn't have dreamed you would pull Mao into this. Shame on you.

  42. @Anonymous 8:57
Excuse me, it was AT SPORTS who brought it up first when they gave that lame statement about why they fired him.
To recall, they said things were uncomfortable since May when "the other skater" approached him.

And I will agree with the earlier poster.
Brian was asked if he had an offer. He said no. That means he didn't get a "Hey Brian, please be my coach. We will pay you this much. I will start on this date."

Brian said he got an INQUIRY. As in "Hey I'm just curious if you would consider coaching..." There is no strings attached. And if AT Sports got "uncomfortable" with that then I really have to question their common sense.

    ReplyDelete
  43. Robin/ It seems that she(or he) says career 'as top coach'.

    ReplyDelete
  44. Why does Brian Orser keep bringing Mao up? What does she do wrong? He should stop lying!

    ReplyDelete
  45. I love that the Yunabots are totally gaining on the Tea Party in the poll.

Yu-Na fans and new FS fans in general need to take a history lesson. Yu-Na is not the first, nor the last "Queen" of FS. There was the "Kween" before her, before her there was Kristi, and before her there was Katarina, etc.

Also, Brian Orser was a 2-time Olympic Medalist and a World Champion before Yu-Na was even born. Theres a reason the 1988 Olympics is called "The Battle of the Brians."

Michelle was good from 02-05, but never as good as she was with Frank Carroll. You think Yu-Na would have had as much international success if she didn't have Brian and had some no-name coach? PLEASE.

I think Yu-Na and her agency have WAY more to lose in this situation. It's not gonna hurt Orser's rep, especially in Canada and the US. Yu-Na needs to retire or kick some ass next season, or else the Orser move is gonna look very shortsighted.

    Just my opinion.

    ReplyDelete
  46. I can understand why so many fans are upset and dedicated to Yuna. The thing is that she's the Queen now. W/out Yuna, FS would be completely dead, esp. since the American girls haven't been doing that great. She is probably the most popular skater internationally besides (maybe) Johnny Weir right now. She's the one putting on the popular ice shows that profit and allow other skaters to make some money.
Brian has only helped Yuna gain popularity in Canada. Are you from Canada? B/c most Americans know Brian Boitano and have no clue about Orser. She would still have gained the international success she has now even if she had a "no-name" coach. Do you actually think people outside of Canada are fans of Yuna b/c of Orser? In fact, Orser even said that he rarely gets recognized in Canada. There are more people in Korea and Japan that recognize him. People around the world became fans of Yuna b/c she's a great skater, b/c of her awesome performance at the Olympics, and b/c she just has that charisma. There's an IT factor to her that made me love her and FS again.

    ReplyDelete
  47. And I completely agree that this will definitely be a pressure-filled season for Yuna. Probably more emotionally draining than the Olympic season. She not only needs to skate well, but also needs to make some popular decisions concerning her new coach and team.

    ReplyDelete
  48. I don't know...I hardly ever hear about Yu na in the states unless it's coming from figure skating fans and sites. My mom likes Yu na but doesn't follow on sites so she doesn't hear about anything. I have to tell her. Yu na was Queen last season but I do wonder how long her reign will last.

    ReplyDelete
  49. Since Orser recently (actually in May, when this all began) contracted with IMG, there was an infusion of Japanese junior skaters signing up for training at the Toronto Cricket club. Along with the juniors came Japanese Skating Federation representatives and technical advisors and what not. Not all but some of them seemed to linger around the rink whenever it was Yuna's training time on the ice. They seemed to watch her skate, jump, work with David Wilson for her new programs. You know where the story goes from now. They have been putting her and her skating under the microscope, analyzing, well, the secrets of her skating so to speak. Probably they did so that they can use the know-how not only for Mao, but also for their juniors. Yuna soon noticed the change around the rink side with increased observers from Japan, found out what was going on and how Orser was involved in that. That was a major cause of her relationship fallout with Orser, and that is also the reason why she and her mom kept him out of loop for the last three months, because she didn't want him and others to know her plans!

    ReplyDelete
  50. It is clear that the misunderstanding between Kim and Orser started when the rumors about Mao was floating around. Whether IMG was involved or not, Orser confirmed that Mao had contacted him (and his team) - which, based on Korean's way of trust, might have made Kim to feel betrayal or at least lose the absolute trust to Orser. It is quite common emotional reaction from Koreans. When they trust their family, friend, teacher, or in this case, coach, that is 'absolute' trust. Probably Orser thought Mao's team approached him against his will, but Kim's team probably didn't take that way, especially considering Mao and Orser are under the same management company. Koreans never ever trust Japanese due to the colonial history. That is why this rivalry is sometimes too hot to control.

Both Kim and Orser are still classy - I believe. Sometimes this kind of thing happens especially all media are flooding into only one issue.

  51. Sooner or later, the total truth will be revealed in daylight but what i want to say here is that i'm a liittle sorry and distressed that Brian Orser, who has been loved by many korean fans, should have been more aware of Corea/Japans' relationship. i'd like to ask you to imagine how uncomfortable Yuna Kim might have felt when she watched some persons associated with japanese figureskating snooping around Criket Club in the middle of training for the past a couple of months under the name of watching their own junior skaters recently accepted by Bryan Orser. as you know.. japan is the country which is always sensitive to grasp Yuna kim's every single moves. i think it doesn't need to explain the reason about that. this is just tip of iceburg. ------this is side story, but if you take a chance to serf on Youtube, you might easily notice how ugly and conscienceless footages are being made and posted by japapnese fans in order to disparage Yuna Kim and koreans. more than that some japanese public media, which must stand in justice, fairnees and truth , tried to hamper Yuna KIm's victory right after the Olympics and tried to make bad immages about Yuna Kim with absurd and false articles that can't not be made or be immaginend if they are human having souls and conscience. l i won't say it here. we have to know that individually, nationally, enterprisedly japan is tyring to pull down Yuna Kim by taking every possible ways.------)

and he should have been more patient and more concentrated to Yuna herself and her voices about inconvinence/discord such as training, time spent for intensive coaching as her full time reponsibility coach and problems of receiving many students under his wings etc. if he was thinking of the team continuing to go together as a main coach for the next several years.

As you know, the 4 years contracts between Yuna Kim and Brian Orser was terminated as of April 2010. so technically, resigning the contract is not mandatorily needed unless the both parties reach an agreement. this is absolutely not firing the hired or someting. it's just end of contract. the matter that the contracts goes on is totally another problems. so from May to August, both parties decided to have pause on the questions wheter or not the two parties will continue to go on as a team together. and then finally they came to a result in agreemetn that they will find and go to their own way.. i think it's totally one-sided and prejudiced artices whice have been released by some canadian media for the past several days like "Orser, fired by AT. Yuna KIm's mother"..." i understand B.Orser is a great athlete and one of the honorable legends in world figurestaking history and especially loved skaters in Canada. so it's possible they publicized as if Bryan Orser is the victim and AT.&Yuna kim are offenders. but it's totally not truth. it's just one sided story

  54. Orser says he never had a contract with Yu-Na. They also never worked with one another for a full four years, so any 'contract is up' business is inaccurate.

    ReplyDelete
  55. I know a lot of people were surprised Orser didn't have a contract and didn't command (relatively) that much money hourly. I don't know why that is a surprise. He's Canadian. I went to school in Canada and as a country, they have Tall Poppy Syndrome and low self-esteem.

    ReplyDelete
  56. $110/hr isn't shabby, plus Orser is likely paid for running the skating program at the club. It just isn't what he could be making.

    ReplyDelete
  57. Such hate...look how it destroys and ruins relationships.

I understand not coaching rivals like Mao, Miki or anyone from any country but should Orser be limited just because someone is from a certain country.

Also think Brian should have controlled the enviroment and not have all those lurking eyes around.

    ReplyDelete
  58. 1. Korean Government paid Orser 45,000,000 won as a bonus for Yuna's Olympic Gold. So Orser's statement that he didn't get any bonus is not true.

    2. Orser published his essay in Korea, and many Yuna's fan bought it. So he earned money from it.

    3. Orser was invited to IB Sports Ice Show(Festa on Ice, Ice All Stars) with Yuna, as a headliner. Both of them were paid by IB Sports. Yuna didn't get paid much by them either. If he says he was at Yuna's show for free, which I believe is not true, it's his choice and decision with IB sports. Yuna just started to have her own show by her management company(AT Sports) just recently. (Only once last month, and planning one in Oct)

    4. Orser did a couple of commercials with Yuna in Korea. It was Samsung Electronics, so I'm sure he was paid quite good. These commercials with Yuna for him were only possible because Yuna is a mega star here. So he earned money from it.

    5. The Cricket Club became so busy after Yuna's fame. In some interviews, Orser and other coaches there said many juniors came to the club to see Yuna in person, and they thanked Yuna for that. Adam and Gao came to Orser, only after Yuna. The first one ever approaced to Orser was Yuna, and many juniors like to work with Orser after they saw Yuna's huge success now.

So Orser's salary must have soared anyway.

No wonder Japanese Juniors and memembers with the Japanese Federation came to the club, too to analyze Yuna. (They always wants to analyze things under microscope scientifically and technically not only with figureskating but also with other things, too) This is what Yuna's been so uncomfortable with.

There are facts here to be considered.

    1. Orser is with IMG. (Rumors say that Orser had a new contract in May with IMG)

    2. Mao Asada is with IMG Japan. Orser said Mao's agency approached him to be her coach.
Strangely enough, Mao's agency strongly denies that they never ever approaced Orser and never were going to.

    3. Orsers started to teach Japanese Juniors.

  60. 1. Soothing rhetoric --> "It is a fantastic program, by far the best one I've seen. It is beyond even her Concerto in F (the Olympic long program to Gershwin.) It's a complete departure."
Actually, what he did --> Opened the music ‘Arirang’ of Yunas new program to the press without kim's prior consent.

    2. Soothing rhetoric --> "I'm sure you have heard the rumors, but I want you to know my loyalty is to you, and your skating is my priority."
Actually, what he said --> "I have to say that I was flattered she has an interest, but your skating comes first. let me know if you any concerns or thoughts." He had a foot in both camps.

    3. Soothing rhetoric --> "Financial issues had nothing to do with the split."
Actually, what he said --> "I'm the lowest paid coach at this level in the history of figure skating,'' Orser said. "I get $110 an hour, and that is what I charged her. I did make something from Korean commercials.... blah,blah,blah....

    4. Soothing rhetoric --> “I wish her all the best as she moves forward in her skating career.”
Actually, what he did --> He broke the news on the same day as the first ticket sale day of Yuna's US show.

    5. Soothing rhetoric --> At the CTV, he respected Yuna as an adult in classy manner.
Actually, what he said --> In other articles, he used a word “Kid” and “girl” like that “Kid who cares of their mom” or “19 years girl whose emotion up and down sometimes."

    what exactly he intended?
And, JSF & Mao, you really are without honour and without shame.

  61. Well, this is a simple story. Their time was up and they decided not to move on anymore.

I think Orser has a bad manner, interviewing a dozen of press - well it seems that much to me - before discussing Yu-Na. This could have been much quiet, polite and uncontroversial.

About Orser releasing Yu-Na's new free program music, well, some might think it's not a big secret.
Let's see, Yu-Na has been so careful about choosing her program and keeping it a secret until she announce it to public herself. She doesn't even play the music when she's practicing at her skating club.
Of course Orser knew how she's so careful about her music. He should have never done this thing.

Announcing her new program for Yu-Na is not a simple and dull job.
It's like a little surprise to her fans and Korean people.

    This one is more special.
    It's Arirang.
I won't dare to explain what it means to Korean people.
I'm sure she would have wanted to make it a secret gift for her home country.

I really feel bad that things had become like this.
Just want to see her skate happily.
