Geza Masterpiece Theatre

Where is joy that Geza used to bring to floor exercise? He gauged the sophistication level of American taste precisely and the crowd ate it up.

All Kim needed to do was wiggle her ass, flex her muscles and swing her arms around. The crowd recognized the genius immediately (as did the judges.)

  1. That 1991 routine brings back memories and chills! Lets be honest, she was no ballerina, but Kim and that FX is still one of my all time favorites. How i wish she was mentally and physically healthy in Barcelona..damn you gymnastics gods..damn you!

  2. Didn't Geza also choreograph Campi's 1991 routine? That was beautiful.

  3. Geza had moments where he was actually good...Campi '92, Beckerman '99 and '00 and Miller '96.

  4. Gexa was at his worst when choreographing for Bela or MLT (Beckerman excluded). He also did at least two of Dawes' routines.

  5. I thought Liddick did all Millers floor routines?

  6. Liddick touched them up, tweaked them daily, etc, but Geza actually did all of the floor routines of the Magnificent 7 in '96. He was the National Team Choreographer at the time and they all chose to work with him.

  7. Geza worked with a number of the girls on their compulsories and many of them would go out to spend a week or so with him training. He likely did their routines and worked on compulsories with them as well.

Here is Geza talking about choreographing for the Mag 7:

  9. Weird question, but does he run a gym in Sacramento now? My girlfriend and I saw Pozsar's gym or something like that right next door to a Waffle House a few weeks back, and I've been wondering ever since.

  10. Yeah, he's had a gym in Sacramento for a long time now...10 years at the very least. But last I heard they weren't doing optionals anymore.
